The problem is that I no longer have the drive that the update was installed on because doing a system restore, to 3 days prior, corrupted my windows and it would no longer boot.

All I know is that there were 2 updates, and 1 security update that was installed and I can’t go back to see what they were. I am just looking at everyone on the post about edge having the same issue and hoping there will be a solution for this soon.

I now have a fresh install of windows that apparently included the new version of Edge and I don’t have an update to remove. This is what the program files show: the date of the msedge. The instructions aren’t clear when I go to cmd as administrator on if I should be in system32 files when typing the c: etc I tried copying and pasting the text and it didn’t work. That’s how I ended up navigating to this folder to see two version on Edge for some reason.

I changed the version in the text I needed to paste and it did something, not sure what, but it took me to a system prompt without the windows in front of it, but then other functionality in my chrome browser started to act up before I did the uninstall command so I exited out. I need a new back up before I try anything else.

Hi L2. Compare the latest drivers available for download with the ones presently installed in Device Manager reached by right clicking the Start Menu.
