Verified Purchase. Having previously had use of a company laptop that everything but the kitchen sink available on it I had to buy my very own and ohhhh, heck.
Windows 10 yikes! Given that my usage mainly Word and occasionally Excel is occasional I really didn’t want or could afford to pay the extortionate amount that Microsoft charges for Office. So glad I found this! The disc arrived this morning and I’ve installed it very easy. There’s a few extra bits like ‘drawing’ and ‘database’ that I’ve yet to explore. Firstly – what I know about computers would just about fill the back of a postage stamp.
I just wanted to be able to write documents and letters on my laptop. I read the reviews for this product – they all seemed excellent – so I sent for it. It arrived the next day and I dropped it into my laptop Windows 7 – sat back and waited to see what happened next That was it What I also liked was – the impression that the seller seemed anxious that you would be happy I was – they even urged you to call them if you had a problem So, in conclusion To the supplier of this excellent product One person found this helpful.
It will open all your Microsoft files. Bought this product a few weeks ago to access all my files created with Microsoft Office. I can’t afford to buy office at the price Microsoft are asking.
So I opted to try Office Suite It works perfect, I am able to access all my files brilliant! Thanks PixelClassics you have saved me a lot of money. I would recommend this product to anyone.
It’ll still be an issue if you try to mix and match and apps. Say, you get Home and Business, but then you already have stand-alone Access. No go. Or any other stand-alone application on those lists. They won’t install properly or at all , or will break the existing suite install. I was aware of office removing every app – like visio etc on your PC project too I assume but I didn’t know you could just “get an updated version license free”.
I have Office including Visio and Office running concurrently and flawlessly on my laptop. Of course, when I installed Office , I didn’t install to the default location. That’s bad juju. Add exchange to that incompatibility list. Just loaded it on an execs laptop and now the outlook software is saying its trying to connect to an incompatible source.

We are mostly running Office here. A Director asked for a copy of Project and a version was procured for him. While installing Project it warned that is was going to remove the entire Office suite of products!! If it were the other way around, I could have gotten an upgrade to Project , but I doubt that MS will give me an upgrade to Office just to match my Project license.
You would think that stand alone applications like Project and Visio that use their own separate license wouldn’t have a compatibility issue with another program just one version older. Dealing with the same issue. I found all of the above sites through Google but unfortunately the “Answer Desk” has changed since this was originally offered and now leads to nowhere useful. I was hoping this thread would have some additional info with who to contact.
So far I’ve used the chat option, requested a callback, called myself and there seems to be no knowledge on the Microsoft support side on how to handle these calls. Every stop on the forwarding train seems to be, “Oh, you need to go here. Allow me to forward you,” and then the next group says the same thing. These are the numbers I’ve gotten but there were several forwards I don’t have numbers to: Accounts and Billing Office Support Project and Visio Support. I too had much the same experience.

I didn’t want to have to buy the word or excel program AGAIN my old version would not work kept telling me my product code was not valid. Nor did I want to join a monthly subscription. This does open your excel files but when you go to save them, it saves them in the office suite program however, you can change your file extension to xlsx.
I have no problem with that. There are a few difference from the excel program but nothing I can’t work with. I am very pleased that this cd worked!! I would buy it again. It also let me open my word files.
Office Suite works as advertised and opens all my stored Microsoft files Word, Excel, and Power Point and allows printing, editing, etc. The software is very impressive in its own right and in many ways, exceeds the original Word Suite. Documents can be saved in a number of formats. I just bought a used computer and needed a word processing program. I didn’t want to pay a fortune for Microsoft Office and saw this. It was simple to download and install and suits my needs.
I’m still learning how to use it as it’s a little different from Word but so far I haven’t had any major problems. The one thing I’m having a problem with is opening more than one document at a time.
I haven’t figured out how to do it so it’s an annoyance. There might be a way to do it that I haven’t figured out yet but it’s a little bit of a problem. I’ve figured out that I can open several programs at once at the beginning but not if I’ve already opened one file.
Can’t open another file if I have one open. I just open all the files I think I’ll need at the beginning but there must be an easier way. I will not pay for it on a monthly or yearly basis no way.. In steps Office Suite, now by no means am I a computer wizz I am Old School for sure, but let me tell you this I have managed to do whatever I did on Micro’s office simply with this program.
There is a very good help list on it but some computer knowledge is necessary it has helped me though. I am still going in and playing with it and also finding I am learning, I haven’t learned stuff for a long time LOL I am happy I purchased this so will you be too!!!
Excellent replacement for Office for me. No problems installing on my Mac and I was able to open and edit my Word documents with no problems. I had a question about saving and sharing documents and my question was answered promptly and completely.
Highly recommended! I am so glad I found this software! You don’t need a product key to install and you do not have a subscription with this product. Just insert the disc into your computer and install.
