I am running Outlook on Windows 8. I download complete emails to my hard drive and do not use Outlook in Exchange mode i. PST file is on my computer. Everything on the computer is superfast and Outlook used to be fast until about two months ago.

Switching to Outlook from another program, it takes ages to load. Scrolling down on the list of email is very slow list only, not trying to preview emails. Also, switching between mail and calendar and contacts is very slow. All you did is the right steps, now try to create a new pst file for working with your MS Outlook, and after settings up new pst file import your data from old pst file to Outlook.

It does not seem to have been the solution to my Outlook issue, though. It is nice to know how many other things that needed fixing that are now fixed, though. So far it seems to have worked.
