I had a 5 year old copy of Adobe Acrobat Pro that suddenly decided to completely stop working, so rather than continue to fight Adobe I just bought this new version on Amazon because I needed Adobe Pro to work immediately – I use it every day.
Finally googled enough and discovered that you have to go to a random place on Adobe, download the program from THEM not Amazon and then enter your serial number to activate it. So honestly I don’t see any benefit to purchasing this from Amazon – the discount is the same everywhere. But the program, once installed, is fine – it’s quite annoying that Adobe requires you to either buy a subscription or keep buying new versions, but that’s not really any different than any other software these days.

You will be going in circles. I purchased Acrobat Pro Student and Teacher edition tonight and have not been able to download and install it. My eligibility was verified and I received my serial number. However, there is no “Download” button in my ‘Software Library. There is only a “Print” button that produces a ‘We’re Sorry’ error message indicating they can’t process my request when I click it.
I purchased this product for my son who’s in college and three months later we still have not been able to get a working product installed. The redemption process is a nightmare. After hours and hours, we finally got a download only to be forced into a account sign-in process that initiated a day free trial.
At the end of that process, the software stopped working. I have tried numerous times with Adobe support, and they have been incredibly bad. I would think twice about ever ordering any software from Amazon after this experience, and certainly never order anything from Adobe.
