Alcatraz is a first-person shooter game set in the prison of the same name on an island. If you crave bloodshed and like to fight off crowds of enemies, then this game is clearly for you.
The plot of Alcatraz tells us that a former U. Army general is acquiring missiles that he wants to use against civilians. He takes over Alcatraz and makes it his villainous headquarters. The protagonist is a seasoned warrior who is also an apprentice of this general, so he knows his character, weaknesses and demeanor like no other.
Command decides to send you on a combat operation to eliminate the general alone, landing on a captured island. Several hours of gameplay await the player, in which he can enjoy an abundance of enemy soldiers, explosions and boss fights. Your arsenal of 5 different weapons, such as: pistol, sniper rifle, AK and others. The gameplay consists of a constant battle with the crowds of soldiers that the general has sent to defend the base.
They don’t sparkle with intelligence, so they are not very dangerous, unless you are surrounded by them. Shooting in the game has a rather mediocre performance, as the weapons are little different from each other, there is almost no recoil, and the sounds of the shots are unrealistic, which negatively affects the feeling of shooting and weapons in general.
In addition to the crowds of enemy soldiers, you will sometimes be expected to see their fortified representatives. They differ only in the fact that they are wearing a bulletproof vest, which can be pierced with an ordinary clamp.
At the end of the game you will face a long and challenging fight with an invader general. In general, the game is quite playable, the graphics leaves much to be desired, but it is possible to play, because you almost do not have to think in it, just shoot and run to the end of the level.
